The James River Splash & Dash is a competitive tube race which took place on Lynchburg’s Percival's Island on July 28, 2012. Participants ran a 2 mile trail course, grabbed a tube, paddled (with their hands) down the James, and ran their tube to the finish line. After the race, there was an after party at The Depot Grille with music, food, beer and more! This event is a fundraiser for the James River Association.
JRA provides a voice for the river and take action to promote conservation and responsible stewardship of its natural resources. For more information on the James River Association, visit www.jrava.org
